Ruh Roh... Bluemoon accepted my offers... musta offered too much. ;) [LONG]

We all know about Blue Moon coins and the horrendous reputation they have here on the boards, as well as some of the ludicrous auctions they run. The general consensus is to stay away.
Well, they had some Darkside material that I was interested in, so I figured I would shoot them some offers. Not lowballing, but what I considered to be "reasonable" buying prices. I honestly did not expect any of the offers to be accepted, given their asking prices and their reputation.
I think that some people see the 5x or 10x market value BIN prices, then send in scathing or ridiculing emails or offers, so of course they won't be accepted. In the commentary for each offer, I courteously explained *why* I was making the offer I did (quoting Krause or pointing out aesthetic issues).
Two of the three offers were accepted immediately, and the remaining one expired over the weekend (I REALLY wish Ebay would allow a longer offer period than 48 hours... if you make an offer late on a Friday and the seller is a B&M business that is closed on the weekend, you're screwed). I called back about the one that had expired; they originally had not acted on it because they thought my offer was a bit low. I went into detail about why I bid what I did, and the gentleman said "You know, you're right. Offer accepted." Not even a counteroffer.
Overall, my experience with them on the phone was quite pleasant.
Here are the coins (shipped but not yet received; pictures are from the auction).

Was I simply being reasonable, or did I offer too much, hence their acceptance?

- 1885 SWITZERLAND BERN 5 FRANC SEGS MS62 PL. Krause lists it at $125 in UNC. Their BIN price of $999 was clearly ridiculous. I offered $110 and it was accepted.
- 1901 CANADIAN 10c NGC MS62. Krause lists for $225 in MS60 and I think $375 in MS63 (quoting from memory). Their BIN price of $499, again, was in the stratosphere. I justified my $150 offer by stating that (1) the diagonal marks over the face were a little disconcerting, and that in Canadian collecting circles NGC trades at a discount from PCGS and ICCS. Offer accepted.
(I love the sharpness of strike on the hair). - 1867 SWISS 5 FRANC SCHWYZ NGC MS63. Krause lists this for $200 in UNC, which seems awfully low for a 19th century coin that only had a mintage of 8,000 pieces. Moon money BIN price again of $999. I figured I'd offer straight up Krause UNC, $200. It was accepted. Won't be able to tell until I get it in hand, but the toning patterns look like there might be a very old cleaning there... dunno.
Love the design though!

Getting close to Krause for attractive and slabbed coins is a win-win.
