Since you thought you should post the PM you sent me, I will do likewise.

    William,

You seem to have figured things out by yourself.

Yes, Boom & I were in contact with each other.
He was also goiing through some tough times, but he had the decency to be in contact with me and post for others to see that he was still around.
He also never told me that he was going to send the package & not follow through as you did.

You also would get online & not reply to my inquiries. What am I supposed to think?

I have also recieved a few PM that mention this is your M.O., painfully slow or pulling out of deals that were made.
Doesn't this bother you, how others percieve your trustworthiness? Obviously not.

I hijacked your thread because you were purporting to be upset that someone called you a thief, and that you were a stand-up Marine.
You may see yourself that way, but that's not how others that have dealt with you see you.

I did not call you because I did not have your number (at the time), although I did make an effort to find it & I did call a Bill Bennet in Hilton Head, but the zip was different than yours. I left an message, but I expect it was someone else.

I also tried to find the local Police, if i had to go that route, but as you pointed out there is no Police in Hilton Head.
This would have been the second to the last choice, because if I went that route I would in essance be calling you a thief.

I also gathered information on my last opinion, if I had to proceed with a lawsuit, but things don't look like they will have to go that far.

We all have cr@p that goes on in our lives, if you're too busy to be involved in more than 1 thing, don't involve yourself in more than 1.
Excuses are just that, I was out of town, my dial-up connection is slow, my mother is a crack-head........

Nobody is responsible for you but you, not your ISP, not your mother, not the Marines, just you.
You will probably never see it that way, it's always the other guys fault, or blame some object for the problem.

    Pretty sad, IMO.

  • That information is on page 1... Im not opening up page 1 anymore due to the time factor with my dial up service. If you cant find it, let me know, and I will.

  • Ok, with the holidays and some very mixed personal dealings (getting tired of flying from Colorado to SJ)...I am sending the package out to the next person with the contents as original. I will ask that I be contacted prior to the package going back to the Ajia as there are a few that I will keep my eye on.

    Earl,

Please don't send the package until someone asks for it.
Millertime now has the option of accepting it or passing.
Since the contents has not changed & he passed on it before, my guess is that he & DocMortar will pass.
But let's wait to hear that for sure.

    Millertime, take or pass?

Over 30 some odd dollars for me just to have the pleasure of not even being able to find one coin of interest!

image somethin' not quite right about that if ya ask me. image
  • ajiaajia Posts: 5,403 ✭✭✭
Exactly why I asked folks if they wanted the package before it was shipped to them.
The list of coins involved where right there for all to see.
If there was nothing wanted, then there was the option to pass on the package & not have to ship for nothing.

And this is why I am trying to create a new way to TAG.
