Posting from the Long Beach show....

Dealer setup is going on with early birds here. Many cases are still empty. Bought a few cheap coins.

When we are planning for posterity, we ought to remember that virtue is not hereditary.

That would be littering.
Come to Vegas instead, at least you can throw your slabs down on a black jack table and have a chance of doubling up.
Or you can just give them to me
Sounds like a great plan, but please let me get myself to Arizona before you start chucking them.
<< <i>Thanks. We're gonna need it with our location and with gold and silver being weak. >>
Perhaps some news from the "Axis of Evil" summitt in Cuba will give precious metals a boost this week!

<< <i>Thanks. We're gonna need it with our location and with gold and silver being weak. We should probably leave tomorrow, rent a car and drive home to Dallas. We could stop by the Grand Canyon and see how far we can throw slabs into the canyon.

What effective weight would a silver dollar slab have by the time it reached the bottom of the canyon?
Don'tknowdon'tcare. I will be going for the gold ones.

If if gets to terminal velocity, the effective weight would be zero. True weight is defined by its mass times the acceleration due to gravity. Gravity would be entirely balanced by air resistance and thus effectively zero. The mass would all still be there though.

<< <i>I can see the headlines now. Dealers jump into the Grand Canyon,
after alloted poor table and having bad show.
Better that way than committing suicide on the brouse floor.

Just curious what " cheap" coins means.
Do mean cheap relative to what you would have paid or
cheap meaning less than x amount of dollars....in which case I was wondering what is the value of x.
A cheap coin to me is around $20
on Friday. Things will begin to hum then.

Fooled me.
But, then again I'm dumber than coin dealers, coin doctors, coin counters, and most varieties of indoor plants.
most indoor plants by a sizable margin.
