Best Camera for photographing coins...under $300, suggestions?

Just curious, as my camera has met an untimely fate. RIP!
Going to shop for a new camera this week and suggestions would be appreciated, trying to keep it under $300.

I just noticed the other post on Cameras a few down from this one lol. im checking those out this week at Circuit City and Best Buy...

Make sure it has a self timer function and spend a couple extra bucks and buy a tripod. For taking pictures of static objects to show detail there just is no substitute for a tripod.
