Five years ago I turned down an NGC FR-2 that had PERFECT smooth brown surfaces, but no more detail than this at $400. As a dealer, I was a fool. You can judge this piece from there.
Retired dealer and avid collector of U.S. type coins, 19th century presidential campaign medalets and selected medals. In recent years I have been working on a set of British coins - at least one coin from each king or queen who issued pieces that are collectible. I am also collecting at least one coin for each Roman emperor from Julius Caesar to ... ?

Actually, for something like this, it IS worth bothering. I'm guessing even in this condition, the coin is worth several hundred dollars.
It's those PO-1 Kennedy's you see here that have ME scratching my head and asking "why bother?".
<< <i>While there are no derogatory comments on the slab like "corroded", the coin is indeed graded P01 >>
Really, an honest PO-01, not Details graded? Sweet coin!
Hell, I don't need to exercise.....I get enough just pushing my luck.

Because this is the only grade that a lot of people can afford for this coin!
If I had it my way, stupidity would be painful!

Especially when there are so many gold buffalos to be had!

That PO-01 Cap is PQ.

And it's an S-14. If I ever get a 1793 Liberty cap large cent, it'll be that variety. Bisecting die cracks are a big plus in my book.
