Lady at Mint customer service predicted gold 3-piece would sell out within 24 hours

spoke to a lady in the mint customer service while placing an order for the 3-piece gold eagle 20th set and she said that at the time of my order, almost 4,000 had already been sold, only 50 minutes after going on sale.

i asked her what she thought of those numbers against the 10,000 mintage limit and she said that based on her past experience with other hot mint products, she predicted they would sell out within 24 hours.

i was able to order 2, so i'm glad i got the order in!

I ordered 3 but wish I could get the limit of 10. I might be able to pay for the first set by selling the rest.

I'd love to have the money to blow on one of those sets. As it is, just one silver set for me...

ziggy29, i ordered 2 so that i could sell one to offset the cost of the one i want to keep.

i have a feeling that even dealers will buy these 3-piece sets at an inflated price after they sellout.

yeah im in the same boat as ziggy. im 24 and dont have 2600 dollars to spend even though im quite sure i could get at least 3 grand in november for the investment (probably more). so i bought two silver sets one to keep and hopefully i will be able to sell the other one for 204.95.

I just order mine in the past 5 minutes and it took no time at all. Either the mint has upgraded their website or sales volume is not real high.

It is, and it's a hefty markup for UNC coins, but I got one just in case. Only 20k made, so what the heck. If they sell out between now and middle of October, great, if they don't you can always cancel.
