Box received today. Sitting between the screen and front door. Gotta love del confirmation. Will have a looksee shortly and will have her on the way by Saturday, hopefully, Monday at the latest.
Hi all. I just had the priviledge of incurring S/H fees for another tag that I was unable to enjoy due to circumstances beyond my control but the good part is that the move is almost complete.
I hope to look thru this box tonite, find something in this tag and move it along hopefully tomorrow.
I'll need to know who I am to send to and an estimated value for insurance purposes. Just drop me a PM or email me, OK?
This sounds interesting, I do not understand what happens to the box after the 10 people get their hands on it...
Can someone breat down the process for me please. It seems the package starts with a 50 dollar coin and each person has the option to leave the coin in the box or swap it with an equal or greater value coin/coins.
Am I right so far? What happens to the package of coins at the end of the swap?
<< <i>Am I right so far? What happens to the package of coins at the end of the swap? >>
not a swap.. this is a Tag. Originator fills box up with coins, as it goes from person to person on the list in order the contents change as people take out and put in equal value. Finally, when box comes back to originator they keep all of it. confused yet?

Exactly what I needed yo know, thank you very much.
OK, let's see the contents are as follows: 1921 - D VAM 1P (present) 1881 - S PCGS MS63PL - VAM 5 **Taken by 30anvZ28** 1887 - P PCI MS64 (present) 1881 - S PCGS MS63 **Taken by Millertime 1921 - D JOH-16 (present) 1898 - P Morgan (Big John D took) 1886 - P MS64 (Present) 1881 - S MS64 (Present) 1885 - P MS64 **Taken by 30anvZ28 1852 T1 VF **Taken by Millertime 1923 - P MS64 (Present)

Millertime added:

Contents verified. Tonite I want to break out Photograde as well as the loupe & make some decent choices.
Actually, this is the first chance I even get to open the box. I do not want to hurry and make a bad choice for myself or for those that come after me by trying to beat it to the Post Office before it closes for the day. I want to make absolutely certain that claychaser either gets a wide variety of coins or a really nice certified coin that could literally empty the whole of this box.
Guys, under the circumstances I am doing the best I can and one way or another this box WILL BE in the USPS system tomorrow morning, Guaranteed!
I appreciate everyones' patience and understanding. Any questions, as Earl. He knows what is going down.
OK, first I am going to verify what is going back into the box, what I am taking along with what I am adding and then I shall return with the Shipping information.
Without copying and pasting (fro now) I am just going to list and will come back and organize it better with the additional info.
It boils down to me swapping 1886 Morgans approximately the same grade, raw. I am taking the White one and replacing it with a toned one. For the raw 1881-S Morgan which I am taking I am replaing it with an NGC 64 1885-O and for the 1857 Flying Eagle I am replacing it with an original BU 1913 Type 1 Buffalo Nickel, a very nice coin that has never been cleaned, dipped or set in Acetone. I think this is very equitable as I am placing a known, White certified Morgan for coins yet to be graded.
OK, so for now, while I print out the label and get this thing moving the contents are: 1887 PCI 64 Morgan Both 1921-D Morgans go back in The 1923 Peace Dollar goes back into the box. 1893 IHC 1865 2 cent piece 1843 Large Cent goes back in 1868 Three Cent piece 1859 VG+ Half Dime (I may keep to offset the difference) OR 1852 3 cent silver (If I keep either one of these to make up the difference I will clarify when I edit with shipping info.) 1907 Indian Head Cent.
OK, Boom takes the 81-S Raw Morgan, the 1857 Flying Eagle Cent and 1852 3 cent Silcer piece AND swaps a toned 1886 Morgan for the White one, approximately the same grade.
Boom puts IN an NGC 64 1885-O Morgan. an Unc 1913 T-1 Buffalo Nickel in Original Condition. If anyone knows how to properly refurbish nickel this one has no rub and a complete pointed horn. A lot of people do not know how to grade this particular coin but it's all there. The 1886 Morgan as described previously and just for the heck of it I added 3 Good/ Very Good V Nickels, 1905, 1907 and 1910, I believe. All in all I believe I may have helped to better the box.
I had considered putting some UNC WLH, a 1937 and 39-D and a Blazing Red 1936 Lincoln but remembered that this is a Pre-1930 Tag. While I enjoyed this I apologoze for any delays I may have caused. It's on the way, Clay ... Hey!
One more thing. I got us a new box. I sent all contents in Bubble wrap inside a Priority Mail Box.
Went to the USPS site, used Click-N-Ship to print out my own label for Priority Mail Postage including Insurance with which comes Delivery Confirmation. See, anytime a package is mailed USPS PRIORITY MAIL valued at over $50.00 the bottom half of the label will read ZIP-e/ USPS INSURED which signals the Carrier that the package MUST be signed for. In this situation Signature Confirmation is unnecessary as it is just being redundant.
On packages worth less than $50, mailed insured First Class the word INSURED appears above the word First (as in USPS FIRST CLASS MAIL) with the bottom half of the label reading ZIP - e/ USPS DELIVERY CONFIRMATION. The deal with this is your package IS insured but a signature is NOT required however it serves as a deterrent against Theft or claiming not to have received it because the USPS is still liable for it's safe delivery and is on the hook for the insured amount should it go "missing." This beats the daylights out of a package sent insured with Red Bull's Eyes all over it basically saying "Steal Me." The bar code is the key.
Anyway, the label in it's entirety is 420 92530 9105 0385 5574 9022 26 but the key numbers are as follows: 0503 8555 7490 2225 9526. Got it? Cool!
1887 PCI 64 Morgan 1921-D Morgans (2 coins) 1923 Peace Dollar 1893 IHC 1865 2 cent piece 1843 Large Cent goes back in 1868 Three Cent piece 1859 VG+ Half Dime 1907 Indian Head Cent Toned 1886 Morgan NGC 64 1885-O Morgan Unc 1913 T-1 Buffalo Nickel in Original Condition 1905 nickel 1907 nickel 1910 nickel

I've been through the box and made my choice. I'd like to thank eyoung for running this thing. These tags are a lot of fun for me, and i'm sure everyone else. Hope your happy with the results. There are some very nice coins in this box. I mean some real beauties. Tough to lay off some, but didn't "need" them and had to save some good ammo for upcoming tags. Never know when that must have pops up in one of these things.
In the end, i decided on the 1913 type I buffalo nickel. So, leaving my place and heading back home is the following:

taking up a lot of my time. Earl was kind enough to understand, afterall he knows what I'm going through but
Monday, Tuesday latest I have to do some shipping anyway so I think it would be a safe bet to say that I will pick
something(s) out of the box and put some in place of them and then get it mailed out to claychaser who ironically
was to whom I just sent the PCGS only tag. He just received it and the contents are the same as when I received
the box (see other tag for verification). That was a real thrill. I paid substantial S/H for the privilege of just viewing
the contents because there was simply no time for me to be able to do what needed to be done.
I am beginning to feel like me again and I just mostly want to say "Hi" and that the box will be on the way to JB early
next week.
Take care,
