I couldn't wait... I got my swap package from MacCoin, and it was... (drumroll, please)...

It had a "dollar" theme... Contained 1921 MS Morgan, 1924 EF Peace, type-2 S-mint bicentennial Ike (Even Ike almost looks good on that), Wide rim SBA, an SBA 1979 sovenir set, and a sac for good measure image Wowsa! And, for some reason, a worn-out 1939 quarter. image

Mac, this is excessive. Holy Moly! Now I think I didn't put enough in my swap package. image

Thanks, Mac!!!!!!! (Hope you don't mind if I call you Mac) image

That is strange. When I look at the posts, Koin Kollector is right above me, which means the person above another is the one that they send it to. Am I correct? Thanks.

Late in posting but well worth it. I'd like to thank STRAT for my swap gift. This is probably the best of all of them, not for money value but the numismatic value most of all. I received a Washington Piece, born in Virginia. It is a Collis restrike originally purchased from Bowers & Ruddy and still in the original flip. I didn't know what it was at first. After a little research I learned that Collis found the original die and in 1959 struck 5019 pieces in copper, a few in silver, a couple in gold and 1 in platinum. The then destroyed the restrike die and gave the original die to the ANA. The piece that I have is nicely toned copper. The best part of all this was the research into a piece of numismatics that I probably never would have looked into. That is the wonderful thing about this board. Thanks again strat for the wonderful gift.

I hate small town Post offices, always open a half hour or hour later then I need them to be. Rather annoying when you KNOW the package slip is for coins. Anyhoo, I got my swap from Moursund. My thanks!

A wide assortment of indian heads, pennies, nickels, half dollars, peace dollar and mercs greeted me when I opened them this morning in while driving into work.

I received my package from Louie a while ago, but I am going to try to wait till Christmas to open it.

I'll post more about it then (I beleive they are darkside coins, so I think I should wait till Christmas when I can open my Krause before I post, so I can identify them all).

I received a package from Keiferscoins and I was absolutely amazed at what all was inside. Cameron went way above and beyond on this one:

    1865 2 cent in Good
1900S Barber Half dollar in Good
1941S Merc Dime B/U--I would say at least MS 65
1944S Merc Dime PCGS MS 65
1978S Jefferson--the really cool thing about this coin is the bluish colored toned cameo affect----WOWWWWWWWW!!!!!!!!!!!!
1990S Jefferson NGC Ultra Cameo PF 69
    and last but not least

    1977S Ike ICG PR 69DCAM

I am thrilled with the coins that I received and I am having a hard time trying to figure out which one I like best. While I absolutely love the Mercs--one of my favorite coins of all-time-- I have looked at the 2 cent piece and the toned Jefferson the most. Thanks again Cameron.

    Happy Holidays to all,

And I got my package from copperhead (or some other type of snake, but I'm pretty sure it was copperhead image ) and I was delighted to find within a pairs of large cents, seated dimes, and barber dimes. Trouble is, now that I have more than one large cent and seated dime, I may have to start collecting them for other than a typeset. imageimage
