Home Coin Swaps, Tags and Giveaways

The "COIN TAG" is done. PLEASE READ UPDATE

Hi everyone ,I started this with good intentions but due to my back problems at its worse and surgury around the corner I can not complete this I aplogize to everyone for this,I thought I was on my way to a speedy recovery but that is not going to happen now That is why I was asking for someone else to host, if some one wanted to do a small one with raw U.S /WORLD coins it might work. but I suggest everyone join claychasers TAG most of the people who was interested in mine are also interested in his ,I think a certified tag will work out better for everyone. Again I aplogize and hope everyone understands my situation. GOD BLESS and take care eveyone,Dave> MoJo

I am thinking about hosting a tag with 20 pcgs or ngc coins, and 20+ raw ones. The focus would be on classics - the "A" list:
    All Type coins before 1900
    Cents 1914 and before
    Buffaloes and before 5 cents
    Merc and before dimes
SLQ's and before quarters (and 32-d and 32-s washies)
Walkers and before half dollars, plus some Frankies - dates to be named later
    Morgans - 1904 and before
    Peace dollars - 1921, 1928, 1934-S

The A list can be expanded - let me know your ideas.

Other coins and moderns could be in the tag as "B" coins. "B" coins can be removed in unlimited numbers, but only inserted with a maximum of 1 B coin to every A coin taken out. This would prevent all the A coins being replaced by a bunch of modern stuff.

Values would be based on the following:
PCGS graded coins = 100% of pcgs price guide
PCGS rattler coins = 105% of pcgs price guide
NGC graded = 90% of pcgs price guide
New holder ANACs coins = 85% of pcgs price guide
Raw coins would be valued at the lower of greysheet "ask" or 80% of pcgs price guide

"B" rated coins would be valued at Greysheet "bid" prices.

Tag members can pm me for greysheet bid/ask prices if you don't have access to one.

    Any interest in this?

Sorry, but I would vote 'NO' to the darkside coins.
I don't think there would be much demand for them.

I could be wrong, and if there is, then I would suggest Musky start his own TAG with darkside coins.

Sorry Musky, not trying to step on your toes, and if the concensus is that it's OK to do, then I'll go long with it.
