ANA show mini report, anyone else from the Darkside attend?

I had a wonderful time and saw treasures from all over the world. I saw 4 Gothic Crowns(my dream coin), 1 was prooflike, 1 was the rare silver issue. I saw tables full of incredible medals, 1 full of Goetz. I saw at least 3 different sellers with boxes full of Conders. I saw more Darkside than I had ever seen before, it was wonderful!! One of the best things was buying from the Royal and Austrian mints. Very nice people and fun to talk to. The hologram coin we bought takes your breath away, amazing neon colors. I fell in love with a 1913 3 Mark German States from Civitas that came home with me. Josh is very nice and I enjoyed the short time at his table. I'll add a picture later, couldn't get the lighting right. I also added a couple of upgrades for my US typeset....I am a Darksliderimageimage

My husband fell in love with Brittania.....

This is a terrible pic, but the coin is wonderful....

This one is one of those that when you turn it in the light, the colors change. This one was love at first sight too...

Anyone else go? I would love to see what treasures you found.....image

I like that Oxfordshire Conder token. Sounds like you are having fun even if you are not running into other Darksiders.

What holder is that Oxfordshire 1 in? The only company I have seen slab Conders was NGC?

I wish I could have gotten to the show, I know there were going to be a lot of Conders there (I know Bill McKivor and Jerry Bobbe were both going to be there.) and a LOT of the Conder token collectors society were planning to attend. I would have loved getting to their meeting. (Traditionally a meeting and pizza party I believe.)

It's raw, I just use a clear plastic 2X2 when I try to take a picture of a toned coin. Key word there is tryimage I really don't care for slabs and prefer to buy everything raw.

I only had a limited time there, so I only went through 2 boxes, but the only one that yelled "take me home" was this one. There were so many nice, knock your socks off examples, that I could hardly breath....

Even though I sold all mine I would have loved to have gone to the meeting.
