I am impressed with PCGS and the way they allow freedom to express on the site

My message title says it all....
in many forums / message boards.... the host company would not allow 1/10 of the nonesense that is posted here....
I think this
A. makes PCGS boards the place to be
B. makes a better board since there is very little censorship

OTOH, I have said a few things that weren't very complementary of PCGS grading inconsistencies. Particularly the ones that killed me financially. A couple of times I cringed about the possible repercussions, but I just had to say it at the time.
PCGS crackouts that lose 80% of their value, even thought they were solid candidates for upgrades. That sort of thing really ticked me off and the fact is, there really was a change in standards the first part of last year. Regardless of what TPTB may say, from my point of view, I got scrod.
Still, I have to agree that we can pretty much say what we want if we've got legimate beefs. I've never wanted to post across the street and I always prefer my slabs to be PCGS, even with the headaches that can sometimes cause.
So all in all, I give them a big hand for allowing the freedom we do have and I hope that never changes. I'd really be upset if I found myself on the outside. My connections through this site have certainly made me a few friends and I've done well overall due to the myriad of experiences that the members here provide.
I'll give PCGS an "A" for this forum, no question it's the place to be. I may lurk more than I post these days, but the PM function is priceless.

In my 5 years here the members that have been banned from this forum, that I have seen, DESERVED THE BAN !! PCGS bent over backwards for a couple of them and the members just would not let up.
No Kool Aid either. Its just a fact.

I disagree--the Devil Man intentionally posted personal information about another person in violation of Board policy and deserved the immediate boot!
