<< <i> I think I already mentioned my biased nature for the Mariners, didn't I? >>
I still don't understand why you are consumed with the New York Yankees. So much so that I can't believe you have much time to actually root for the M's !
Tinkerbell, by you saying that you are a hometown fan of the Mariners is a crock and an insult to REAL hometown fans. I mean seriously, you don't even live close to Seattle and you recently jumped on their bandwagon.
Hypothetically you became a "fan" of the Ms in the early 90s... Just for argument sakes, we will say you have been a fan for 15 years. If you claim that you are 35, that means for over 1/2 of your life, you were either a fan of someone else or didn't have an interest in baseball (probably more into ballet).
Some serious spinning to come in 5..... 4...... 3......... 2.............
So basically my kid won't be able to go to college, but at least I'll have a set where the three most expensive cards are of a player I despise ~ CDsNuts
Do you ever plan on participating in a thread again, or are your responses going to be limited to 'insulting' me?
You're a sad, pathetic, excuse for a sports 'fan'...do you even follow teams? You sure as hell don't post about them!
When's the last time you posted about the astros or texans, without it being in response to something someone else posted? And you have the nerve to question my devotion to a team?
Get lost....we're all praying you never return to post from your 'extended' weekend.
It has been mentioned, but like others I agree that Ax doesnt need an Alt to spew that which he believes to be truth. >>
agreed, why would Ax post under a ALT just to talk about mommys and daddys and wish death on athletes? I don't think Ax is THAT whacked .... he is whacked but .... ya know .....I don't see Ax as having a ALT.

Oh and PS - I've been to more Astro games this year than you have been to Ms games your entire bandwagon tenure. Additionally, I have only missed 3 or 4 Texan games with 2 conflicting with home playoff games involving the Astros.
Put that in your spinning pipe and smoke it

JETER FOR MVP!!!! He kept this team together and without him I honestly believe they would be behind the Jays in AL East standing. Remember what Jete said to Arod during the All Star break regarding winning?? Well guess who's IN first?

I don't like the Yankees, but here's a couple of reasons Jeter will probably win. Not deserve to win.
The MVP will go to Jeter if his team finishes in first place and he continues to hit in the .350 range. The MVP award gets debated all of the time on who "deserves" it. It often goes to a player on a first place team who has a great year. Remember Canseco beat out Puckett (who unbelievably finished third) in 1988. If the Twins win the division, Puckett gets the award. Pucketts year was awesome, not to even mention his defense and leadership.
This one doesn't show up in the statistics, but much of NY's lineup is hurt or not producing as well as in the past, so Jeter is improving his performance when it counts.
I always liked Ortiz when he was with the Twins, although he was hurt a LOT. I hope he wins. If the Red Sox finish in first place, I hope he wins it.
Hafner is putting up some great numbers too, but won't get a sniff.

lol, the NY Yankees have won nearly 1/4 of all World Series ever played....I think that they a little beyond "competitive" and I'm pretty damn sure they know how to get it done when the time is right. >>
I was of course referring to recent history within the past five years which comprises the general makeup of the current Yankees team.
