How many of you have a print of Norman Rockwell's "The Collector"?

I purchased this print yesterday on eBay. Here it is for those of you that haven't saw it.

Nice I didn't know he did a picture for collectors.

I've seen his documentary on how he painted. He used neighbors and posed them alone and then combined the pictures to give an illusion of family.

Yes, I have one, purchased a couple and a third got lost in the mail a couple of months ago. I give them as gifts or donate them for door prizes or auctions at coin events.

Could the guy look any snootier? And whats with the Hugh Hefner smoking jacket? And who's the stiff in the suit? Is that his dealer? And should that dog be allowed to get that close to those coins? You know, I have an old coin with what I swear is some dog saliva on it and I think I see now how that might have happened.

I always wear a smoking jacket when viewing my coins.

I have mine on the wall. It was issued about 25 years ago.

I paid $24 for this one that is already framed and the day before that I bid on an unframed that sold for $20.
