    Heroin will get you in prison if you are lucky, coins only get you in prison if you are unlucky (Farouk $20 D.E.).....

    Both can come from foreign sources so, no.....

    Once you use the heroin its gone, and your money has vanished.

    At least with coins you can sell them and get a $$ back, to repeat the cycle.

    Coins are less physically addictive, but more OCD-ish.

    Collecting cleaned, scratched, scraped, AT and ugly POS coins for over 2 years now!

    There are more people enhancing coins

    only a few coins are illegal to own

    I read that getting off heroin only takes a week or so.

    I don't think it's possible to get off coins, no matter what you do, where you go, etc. You are hooked for life image

    Reminds me of Lenny Bruce's replies to the arresting officers. It's aspirin. Why the needles? I don't like the way it tastes.

    The government promotes and subsidizes heroin use with needle exchange programs. How should coin collectors be subsidized? Grading vouchers? Bust half exchange programs?

    The government makes some effort to ensure that coin collectors get a quality product for their money.

    The government makes no such effort on behalf of heroin users. Just the opposite. It is illegal to develop and market safer alternative products.
