Is there any premium for the pointed 9 versus the blunt 9?

There might be in the future if PCGS ever recognizes this variety. Collector demand may increase. Ya never know.

Agreed.

Except maybe Russ. He doesn't pay a premium, but I believe he used one of them as a marker for 1964 proof sets that may have AH halves.
Here’s a couple more:
The 1965 “dot” cent, which was to have filled Denver mint hole in your penny board – mint marks were temporally suspended in ’65-7 to discourage hoarding.
The 1973-S Proof cent – Lowest mintage since the 1914-D cent! Woopie! It’s worth $20 today and will be worth hundreds tomorrow. NOT!

You know Carl, if I had yours I would own 100% of the population in 69UCAM!!!

I thought you got a premium price on a raw Proof 1964 dime! I seem to remember paying more than the going eBay price for one...
Now I wish you would find some raw Cameo SMS Jefferson nickels. And then I wish you would put them on eBay because you are focusing on halves and can't be bothered to send those silly Jeffs to the grading services.
