NEWP: First Revolt (Jews vs. Romans) - Year 2 Prutah (67-68 C.E.)

The reverse almost seems to be missing a chunk on the lower left. It's not. It's just that the scanner couldn't image the edge that rounded up off the scanner bed.

The coin, along with a synopsis of the history of the time, will be donated to a local synagogue for display.

Cool. I have a number of prutahs from a bulk lot of uncleaned ancients, but only two or three have identifiable surfaces remaining. Without knowing the history behind these coins, they look like tiny lumps of dirt.
