Sorry I'm not a bandwagoner. My family immigrated to NYC from Ireland so as usually your talking out your Ax. Sorry to tell you, Every generation of my family has had the great memories of going to Yankees Stadium. From My Great Grandpa(Who was NYPD) on down. Maybe you still don't realize the main reason their are so many Yankee fans is because of Immigration. Oh that and living in the largest Immigration center in the Nation. Oh it's so sad our owner actually spends money. That's the rules, name one team owner who isn't a multimillionare. They'd rather pocket money they spend it on there team, is that my fault or the Yankees? Nope. Keep crying and Keep hating, it only fuels our collective laughter. Oh btw, Damon was a bad investment and I don't like the mercenaries. But again....your still crying....to bad the only thing happens is laughter.
How come you never post about the Mariners...oh thats right your stuck on the Yanks. Hater. Lol...Kindof like how the "Black Hole" isn't just but a bunch of men playing dress up.
Anyways back to the Topic(As usually that 'Hater' tried to snag us up).

The only one crying is queen georgie, so sad because he spends money like a drunken sailor, yet still can't buy another world series title.
Please tell me why the owner of the devil rays should spend $80 million on payroll as opposed to $40? Is he going to win the division with $130 and $200 million payroll teams? Nope. So as a savvy businessman, yes, he puts the money in his pocket.
Put a salary cap in place and revenue sharing, and that situation changes dramatically. Not like you yankee 'fans' want that, you're happy knowing you can buy off 1/3 - 1/2 of the league and keep them out of contention.
I can't expect you to understand, as you are in a place where you are looking down on every other team financially. I don't blame george for spending, but at the same time, I don't give him props for 'wanting to win' simply because he has more resources to do so.

No, it's just fun watching the predictable behavior of a bunch of bandwagon fans (like YOU) run and scurry to prove just how long they've been fans. Real fans are comfortable in knowing they've been a life long fan, and don't have to justify it. Bandwagoner fans are so adamant to prove they are 'fans'.

^^This Guy^^ lol, you should really get off your knees.
Actually you can check my posts I want not ONLY a revenue cap but a salary minimum to keep the cheap owners from lining there own pockets.

you are wasting your breath. Trust me. Ax has nothing better to do but stand on his NY hating soapbox and cry cry cry cry. It is his M.O. and has been his M.O. It is the ONLY thing he is known for around here.
lol Softparade, trust me with the way work went today(We're doing a bathroom renovation) needless to say this is a stress reliever. Nothing like having the plumber and tileman call out and having to do that on top of EVERYTHING else. Needless to say my check will be smileworthy but dangit when you figure you'll just pay a guy to do to quicken things up and have them no show 3 days in a row. Ugh. Had they shown up any of the past 3 days, the bathroom would've been finished today at the latest. blah, time for another brewsky lol!

True! Even with an uncanny ability to score late runs (I hate that about the Yankees!), no way the team succeeds if Rivera has to pitch two inning saves twice a week or pitch three straight games with regularity. He's a lock Hall of Fame selectee, but he can't carry the team alone.
