Here in the northland spring has finally arrived. The grass is starting to green and buds are emerging on the trees soon to become leaves. Hit 78 degrees this afternoon - a new high. Also welcome is the opportunity to take a break from daily routines and reflect on the legacy we enjoy as a result of those who have gone on before. The coins they have left us help to bridge the connection.

    It's going to be hotter than Texas and that's no joy in a dark blue funnyform and vest.

    Only benefit.....Monday is triple time. I'd rather be at home.

    The weather here in Fresno broke from the high 90's back to an enjoyable mid 70's, and this morning the wind was blowing and the sky was gorgeous ... and the yard is now cleaned up ... and the weekend is young ... and we're going to the beach Monday ... and my oldest graduates on Tuesday ...


    YEAH ... Life is GOOD!!!

    Happy Memorial Day to all of you and your families but while your BBQing or pushing a squad car for 12 Hrs or working at Home Depot or what ever your doing this weekend lets not foreget those that gave all so we could live free in this great country and to those brothers in arms I lost from Granada to Panama and a couple other places uncle Sam denies our presence It;s your day and your in our hearts and prayers as well as your families God Bless you all.
