SG, this reminded me a 63 common date Saint I purchased a few years ago that had an entirely flat face. At first I was gonna pass on the coin because of the strike. Then I reconsidered thinking it was sort of neat. How many Saints have no face at all? I call this the "frying pan" saint.

Well if Saint Guru says so, I'll have to concede, however I do have a Double Liberty with a similar marking - though, if I recall correctly, not as strategically placed. I am curious if as an error it commands a premium.
