If you really think you were robbed on the grade, then resubmit that puppy.image
My dealer bought that 1801 dollar raw, submitted it to PCGS it came back F15 so he cracked it out and sold it to me for VF money raw. I submit it on got a VF25. This coin finishes my heraldic eagle set!!

    Question -

How much did you spend on submissions, postage, etc for this group of sixteen coins, and how did their value change as a result of these submissions? While it's nice to get upgrades, I'm wondering whether or not you came out ahead as a result of these submissions.

Also, when was the Bust $ initially graded MS 15 by PCGS? I'm wondering if this is grade inflation, or did they just made a mistake when they graded it the first time? You have more nerve / courage than I do. You bought the coin raw for VF $, submitted it, and got your grade. I would never do this.

Elcontador..I admit I was taking a risk but I believed in the coin. PCGS made a mistake the first time. As for grade inflation, I don't think so. The coin was graded F15 by PCGS a couple of months ago.
Here is the image when it was raw.

OK. example ....The 1943-s nickel I pulled from a capital plastics war nickel set that I paid $35 for back in the day. The single nickel cost less then $3.50 raw, will sell for around $50++in MS66FS. Some stuff I keep some stuff I sell to buy more coins. This is one way I fiance or make coins for my personal collection.

This cannot be true. We all know that PCGS grades tighter than NGC. image

A couple of years ago, I submitted a group of ten SLQ's in their NGC holders and PCGS lowered each coin (except one ) by one point and two "lost their heads". Upon resubmission last year for regrade and Pedigree Designation, all regained their original NGC grades and one got her FH back.
