  • that's a very pretty one. It's amazing the colors that developed with storage. A lesson, I guess, in what you can see thats NT and amazing at the same time.
  • IMHO you added too much saturation in photoshop, it makes the coin look like a neon sign rather than the true colors it has.imageimage

Krypto: I was wondering exactly the same thing. Opinions about the accuracy of a particular coin's color based on a picture are notoriously unreliable. And, in this instance I have seen in hand the coin shown here -- on three separate occasions. And, I can tell you these pictures are an accurate representation of the real coin.

I have to say that psychedelic Morgan looks right at home next to your Jerry Garcia avatar.

Either that's a really nice color or I'm tripping out right now.

    Great greens!!
Always looking for attractive rim toned Morgan and Peace dollars in PCGS or (older) ANA/ANACS holders!

  • weel, the 2nd photo looks completely different than the 1st. I would assume, the 2nd photo is closer to it's truer colors. I can tell the 1st photo had been 'juiced' from the outer edges of the photo where it becomes slightly blurred and starts to lose clarity. I am digital image technician by trade and can tell a saturated 'juiced' photo when I see one.image

The Battle Creek Collection has to be one of the best toned Morgan hoards I have ever layed my eyes on. The Binion Collection also had some very nice toned coins. Killer looking toner bestclser image

    Nice Morgan.

I have bid on several of the Battle Creek coins but I guess I haven't wanted any of them badly enough.

Still looking for that first purchase.
