Longacre has been silenced!

RYKRYK Posts: 35,797 ✭✭✭✭✭
I received an email from Longy that he cannot start new threads or exchange PM, but he can respond to threads. He wanted me to ask if anyone else is having this problem (obviously I am not)? Or, is there a plan afoot to keep him quiet? Or, has he already expended his maximum allowed thread starts for this decade? image

Have no fear! I am sure that this will get resolved in a timely fashion. In the mean time, please post a quarter eagle in his honor.

If he can still post responses, I would guess it's a technical glitch.

I've sent PM's already today, no problem here, so far

My PM is down, but I can start a new thread.

My PM function is down (both sending and receiving). I can not make any new threads. I can not log out of the system. There are certain threads I can not access, like my post from yesterday "Poll: Yay or Nay". All I can do is reply to threads.

Update: Longy cleared his cookies and temporary internet files and cannot sign back in. We are afraid someone at PCGS intended to lock out Legend and erroneously locked out the next name in alphabetical order. He is very upset!

He just hasn't been contacted by the new CU customer service rep yet. They will simply ask for a copy of his drivers license, current credit card statements, recent utility bill, and proof of ownership of all the books he posts about. image

Had a few problems last evening. Couldn't respond to or initiate any posts - couldn't bring up any of my sets to edit - so I gave up when I realized it was PCGS's server acting up.

    Everything seems okay now.

Actually, "Toot Sweet" is a convection and song from the movie "Chitty Chitty Bang Bang". It's scary that I know that.

That's where I know it from. When Barry started talking about all of this French sophisticated stuff, I was too embarassed to admit that I only knew it from Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. image
