Okay,
I see other folks asking questions and getting immediate answers. Is it because i'm a rookie or an amateur? I suppose i can find another spot for discussion but this so far leaves a bad taste.....

    It looks like you received a reply to your other post in 15 minutes. Not bad for early in the day. Are you young? In the days before the Internet it might take days to get answers to questions...

    I'd also suggest having titles that are more descriptive.

    Initially, I passed on "Lincoln Cents" because there are so many posts on them. Try something that lets people know what you want to ask: "How can you tell the difference between metals for 1982 cents?"

    You'll get a lot more replies, and as mentioned, 15 minutes isn't bad at all...

    Tip: don't make the title generic or vague...you will get more replies that way.

    I have to date been very pleased with the interactions I have received here at these boards. I am a relative newbie here and as others have said, it is better to be as precise as possible in titlaes of threads. At least, thats what I have learned so far.

    My advice is be patient. The title thing is important. The threads also drop down faster than they used to. It might even take a day or two before the right member sees it. Sometimes I have to go back six pages or so, to catch up. Of course by then most of the questions are usually answered, so I don't post as much as I used to. The main thing is to not take it too seriously and don't let it keep you from posting. If there's anything you post that I can help you with, I will. image
