Pujols: Your predictions wanted!

  • I think it all depends on his health and the health of Rolen and Edmonds. As long as Pujols stays healthy and has those two hitting behind him, he will continue to get pitches. If he is the lone bat in the lineup, he will be walking as much as Bonds was.

I think Pujols can hit 75, which is very possible in the game today, provided he gets the pitches...
Next MONTH? So he's saying that if he wins, the best-case scenario is that he'll be paying for it two weeks after the auction ends?

Forget blocking him; find out where he lives and go punch him in the nuts. --WalterSobchak 9/12/12

It really is fun watching this again, I am glad there is no real scrutiny against Albert as well. He is not getting as much intentional walks as Barry did basically because opposing pitchers just simply cannot put him on with a healthy Rolen back and Edmonds being a great hitter as well.

<< <i>yeah, I dont think it will be any problem for Pujols to hit 18 more for the remaining of May, all of June, and first 9 days of July. Even if he hit only 4 more this month, 2 in the beginning of July, that only leaves 12 HRs in the month of June. I don't think that is a long shot for him.
Pujols' ability to make contact far surpasses McGwire's and that is why I think it will be just as possible, if not more possible that Pujols can do it. >>

As many on here said, it's a long year, and a lot can happen.

Looks like he may miss up to six weeks because of last nights injury.
