Looks like he bought that 2 months ago for $10. This is just his mark up to cover costs.
  • If he can't see the date, it has just as good a shot of being a 1943 -S as any other dateless cent. You guys talk about 64, shot 65s and the like. Maybe this is a 42, shot 43. So there. image

Why doesn't Ebay call these folks and demand records Etc. like other dealers that sell authentic coins?

Because they are making $$$ on the $5,000 listing fees and they just don't care.

Maybe we should all bid on it, get the guy all excited, then retract the bids saying we bid the wrong price, we meant to bid $.05, not $5000.00

This turd has negs from three different sellers for non-pay. Why hasn't he been NARUed? Sellers NEED to file the NPBs on these losers and get them off eBay.

I filed an eBay complaint about the auction on Friday. Got the standard response. Can't believe the thing is still up.

This is one of those hard to prove cases. The seller is questioning himself in the title, so E-Bay really can't do much either.

If someone bids on this, they deserve to get burned.

Repeated for emphasis. Negs do not NARU someone. NPBs do. Three strikes and you're out -- automatically. Had these three sellers followed procedure, this idiot would not be entertaining us with his crappy copper.
