Post a close-up of one of your favorites, and what camera do you use?

...I like the Nikon D70 with a 60mm Macro lens. Here's a left reverse "detail" of my San Diego PCGS MS67. The D70 does a great job in capturing details, color and the over-all complete look of a coin. What do you use and have you tried more than one camera set-up?image
Oh by the way, thanks once again coinguy1.imageimage

I have not tried to do any close ups but here is an older full size image. I will continue to look through my archive for something better.

It was taken with an older sony 5MP pocket camera. I can't remember the model number off the top of my head DSC-T1 rings a bell, it has the slide up lense cover.

Mr. Spud, that looks like professional quality layout, something that you would expect to see in a book or something!

    Very cool.

These are with a NIKON Coolpix 4200. I love how this camera can show a coin well enough to show off some of its characteristics. Like the great clashing seen on this bustie.

    1951 Bugs Bunny PCGS MS65 ... Kodax 7630 + a kick a$$ microscope.

This is the 1st time I ever tried shooting thru the scope (it's not set up to hold my camera), so it's pretty bad technically. Looks promising tho!

  • just this morning I was trying to get a shot of what looks like a micro 'F' stamp into a bustie. I'm using a Nikon 8700, but am still trying to learn how to use it.
