An 1808 Bustie I purchased from TomB arrived today (Grade Revealed and Additional Pics Added)

The other day Tom sent me another PM telling me that he had another bustie that he thought I might be interested in. He told me it is "the most beautiful and original (edited to remove grade) CBH I have ever seen!". Boy was he right. It is an outstanding addition to the album. What do you think NGC graded her and what do you think of her?

I love it. What an original coin! As far as the grade goes, I think it has enough 'Liberty' to call it at least a VG8...maybe 10.

A very nice piece for a true collector. My favorite short lived (1807-1808) subtype of the series. I still think the 07-08 should be a separate type coin completely.

I (understandably) agree with stman about the 07 & 08 dates in the bust half series.

These are generally shallow struck and tend to be rather flat right out of the shoot.

I would give that one a vg-10

I don't know the grade, but it's a nice evenly worn Bustie with nice color that reminds me of a VF30 (not the grade but the 'look') 1807 auctioned off at an online Heritage Auction recentlythat has a very similar appearance overall. I'd be happy with that coin. Congrats

The eagle looks pretty good, but the rim is quite worn. I will guess G-6 with NGC.
