Oh and two of my favorites, I think the 33 is one of the top toned Lincoln wheats.

    1909 Lincoln

    1933 Lincoln

Sadly, the 1909 is not mine anymore. She is another worthy collection.

Nice lincolns there bigben.....same ones you posted the other day and then again on the BST forum for sale, right?
I guess it doesn't hurt to show your wares that you are selling in any venue you can. image

I've been told I tolerate fools poorly...that may explain things if I have a problem with you. Current ebay items - Nothing at the moment

  • Geez oh wiz Bochiman, it's bad enough that you PM me insulting me with words I can't repeat here, now you want to start trouble here too??? Good grief where is the sanity......

I know....like you said, you are a paid member so you can do what you want. Yes, you are in charge. Post your for sale items here and in the BST.
You are always right and never wrong.

Toned Coins for sale @ tonedcointrader.com
  • I'm sorry everybody for Bochiman's behavior. I decided to sell some of my toners on the BST board after this post to trade for coins I need for my registry, never mentioning a word here about it. I get PM'ed by him with this, including my response. I never called him names or personally insulted him, but now he is posting things around the forum about me, which is just very immature. You be the judge:

    Bigben,

You do know it is considered poor taste to showcase/show coins that you currently have for sale on the US Coin Forum, right?

I saw you post those lincolns the other day, now you have them listed in the BST forum, and you posted them again in the lincoln thread.

Just FYI that people frown upon that and you may wind up getting trashed on if you keep doing it.

    Best,

    B

    (MY RESPONSE IN PRIVATE)
I did nothing wrong. I just decided to sell them tonight as I am a paid Collector's Universe member and decided to post them for sale. I said nothing about selling them or linking them to my post in the Coin Forum. I own them and it is my right and within forum guidlines to display what I currently own. If you or anybody else trashes me then you will be in violation of forum rules.

Chill out and learn to take life less seriously my friend.

    BigBen

    (Bochiman's RESPONSE TO THE ABOVE)
Ya know, I was trying to be friendly. You only joined in Dec last year and I thought I would be nice, but you know something, you want to come on defensive and act like a total dumbass, that is your choice.

I don't give a flying fu** if you are a paid member or not. You think that makes you above other people?

I also think that you think I am scared of you or that I will be "in violation of forum rules". How long have you been on the boards to see how the rules are followed or applied? Did you study each "rule" and you know that you are 100% in the clear on everything?

I'm done with you dude. Last time I try to be helpful to such an arrogant, simpleminded, little twit!
  • I was wondering if that 1975 was a sort of double die or is it just my eyes or the pic? the 75 looks to be doubled a lil???

*ahem* I hate to derail a good flame war, but I just received this Lincoln last week. It's not toned, but I still think it's wild - a triple-clipped 1965 cent with two curved clips and one straight clip:

    BigBen,
Just a friendly suggestion. You might want to delete the PM's. PM's are just that, private.
  • ER, I really don't want to continue this, but didn't you tell me publicly in the Bochiman's open forum post tonight to "get the hell out" after I posted there? Is that another "friendly" suggestion too? I only posted that because Bochiman is posting garbage about me and referencing MY PM in public, just a very immature person.

I've refrained from name calling but all this hypocrisy and harrassing forum members through PMs and posts who don't conform to certain people's world views has got to stop. Let's just go back to coins and collecting and we all have a happier day.

    BigBen,

I don't know what's going between you and Bochiman, and I personally couldn't care less. I don't know how often you visit the Open Forum, but if you pay a little attention, you will notice that all my posts in reference to you tonight were all in jest. We do joke a lot over there. But, even there, posting PM's is a no-no. And people who posted PM's have been banned in the past. You might not know that fact. That's why I wanted to let you know in advance, before some snitch runs to tell the forum moderators. That's all.

But, if you already knew that fact, but still post them (PM's) anyway, then.........
  • I would have to say this 1972 Tripled Die, Very Rare, would be my most exotic image

    image
  • If you were in jest then my mistake and apologies. You didn't come off as in jest in that post and used an angry icon at the end of your post, so bad jesting ER.

As for this PM business, Bochiman started posting comments from my PM and calling me all these wonderful names after all this nonsense of his harrassing posts. Isn't that against the rules?

If it makes anyone feel good then go ahead and run like little kids to the forum adminstrator and tell them. If they ban me and not him as well then this place is a hypocritical BS machine, period. I'm tired of all these PMs from certain Hitler wannabees here who monitor people's every move and post. You all know who you are and you can stick it up your no-social life' asses.

Tired of this garbage. This is why coin collecting has such a bad rap to non-collectors... I guess it doesn't dawn on people that playing the forum brownshirt just pisses people off after too long. I thought this forum was an escape from all the local dealers who are complete a-holes to customers, but sadly it's just more of the same.

See, like I said, you didn't pay attention. If you had looked at the bottom of that post, you would have seen the image. For people I know, I wouldn't even have bothered to put theimage, because they would have understood that I was kidding around.

    Have a good night.

Excuses are tools of the ignorant

Knowledge is the enemy of fear

  • So you think that the number of posts you have determines how right or wrong you are.

Well the longer you are here the more background you can acquire on a person and their behavior so if you walk in the door and yell fire......I don't know if you will be heard? I tend to think that since you aren't a part of the argument and you don't know all the facts....it's probably best to not get involved in other peoples business.....but that's just me image

I would also think that after 10 posts on the forum you would be more interesting in discussing and learning about coins rather than admonishing other members of the forum for their behavior but hey......if you want to troll.........go right ahead image
  • well just cuz you dont post alot doesnt mean your not here.
I just agree with big ben, he shouldnt have brought the argument here!
And "you" sound like the pot calling the kettle black, he he he.... take your own advice.

I agree with Shane....you don't know what you are talking about and are just giving lip service.
So, until you learn to see the whole picture you should listen instead of speak image

Sounds like bigben has received many PMs lately and didn't like mine. Probably the straw that broke his back.
And, if he received so many that he is having a hissy fit, then maybe there are social norms of the board that he is stomping all over?

btw...telling ER to knock it off....ER was nothing but helpful and trying to inject humor into the situation. You have shown your ignorance quite early

I used to own that coin - in fact, from the filename I think that's the picture I used when I ebayed it years back. image

Very few people here will appreciate just how rare that particular coin is, LALASD4. I'm glad you still think so much of it in your collection to post it in this thread.
