Well, it's official... I'm insane.

While people have certainly speculated as to my sanity or lack thereof, I believe that after today's purchases the latter is official.
At what point do you officially become classified as a hoarder?
After discovering an 1867 Romanian proof 5 Bani last year, I've become completely enamored with the series and have been acquiring duplicates. No clue as to the mintages of any; at least one person speculated that there was a bank hoard found at some point. I never have been able to get confirmation from another source.
Interestingly enough, NGC certifies them as proofs, whereas PCGS certifies them as specimens.
Once I receive the two I purchased today, my collection will be the following:
Romania 1 Banu 1867 Heaton NGC PF65 RB
Romania 2 Bani 1867 Heaton NGC PF65 RB
Romania 2 Bani 1867 Heaton PCGS SP66 RD
Romania 2 Bani 1867 Heaton PCGS SP65RD (en route from Dimitri)
Romania 5 Bani 1867 Heaton NGC PF63 RD
Romania 5 Bani 1867 Heaton NGC PF65 RD
Romania 5 Bani 1867 Heaton PCGS SP66 RD
Romania 10 Bani 1867 Heaton NGC PF66RD (purchased from NEN today)
If you'll notice, they're all Heaton mints. I have yet to see ANY Watt & Co. proofs or specimens even though Krause lists them as only slightly more expensive than Heaton.
Methinks that Krause is cuckoo for cocoa puffs...
Here's the one I ordered today from NEN (PF66 RD):

If I recall correctly, a hoard of these was found or distributed when all the other stuff came out of the Heaton mint's holdings recently.
My wantlist & references
Every copper lover can get hooked on these coins. I've had the chance to temporarily own a few coins of the Heaton Mint's collection, and I can assure you that they are very difficult to part with. I'm glad that two of them at least ,found the right home that they deserved.
