Just curious-- how long is your PCGS message board memory?

For those that are frequent visitors to these message boards, I am curious as to how long your message board memory is. For example, I tend to remember the persons who post not-so-nice comments to some of my threads. Similarly, I also remember those who provide thoughtful responses, and those whose comments are so off base, that they are not worth reading. I now have a feel for people's views on things, and I can almost predict what people's responses are going to be to various hypos that are posted here. The idea for this thread resulted from a PM that I received where another board member reminded me of somthing that I mentioned at least a year ago in a PM to him. So, just out of curiousity, how long is your message board memory, or do the comments of posters (good or bad) simply roll off your back like water off of a duck?

I'm envious of the extent of your recall.
I have met, however, a lot of forum members whom I am sure would not remember me and couldn't pick me out of a Duke Lacross line up if they had to. So, I consider that I know them...even though I'm quite sure they do not consider that they know me.

And I knew you would say that. LOL j/k
Seriously though, I do remember the members I respect and those I don't. I also can somewhat predict comments. Of course, there are those oddball ones

I don't know if it's a blessing or a curse, but I can remember the most benign details of threads going back to when I was nothing more than a lurker. As a result, once a user goes on my "problem patron" list for some minor offense, I have trouble forgiving him. I guess in that light, it's a curse.

And then they FREAK'N come back! Damn those Yankees!!!
met someone in person. That said, I decided to come up with some hard numbers for your
thread. I gave myself 15 minutes to list as many boardmembers as possible from memory.
Results:
--------------------
39 names
20 people that I was able to include first names along with their ID
Additional notes:
--------------------
A few ID's are probably not exactly right (JrGman for instance - can't remember if it's 2003, 2004, etc.)
The list is a mix of old and new members, but mostly long-term participants.
3 or 4 timesI could think of the person, but not remember their ID.
4 of the names are women, and I'll be darned if they're not batting a thousand
with my remembering their first name along with their ID.
2 names on the list were bammed (and I can think of another now).
I'm sure there are a bunch of obvious ones (thought of a few more already) that
I should have come up with either because I've met them, interacted with them
numerous times, or because of their "presence" on the boards (for better and worse).
And there you have it.
Ken
Edited to add: No, I won't tell you if you're on THE LIST or not!
Edited again to add: If you are a woman boardmember, of course you were on THE LIST!

Great topic for another thread. Could be set up as a poll as to percentage of threads read.

Sat in the the Fuji Film $5 specially priced tickets in the upper tier in right field!!! We had a ball! Never sat up there before as i always sat in box seats.
The T-Mobile "Sidekick" wasn't even mine. It belonged to my daughter. After using it once and taking 40 minutes to post that one message, I vowed never to use it again! But my daughter, who is a rabid Yankee fan had the time of her life playing with it and also watching the game.
But yes, we stayed all the way until the beginning of the 9th inning when the score was already tied 12-12. Being that I was NOT a Yankee fan, I had already seen enough indeed! Why did I leave? I saw that my beloved Cleveland Indians had already come from behind a 3-0 deficit of their own to win 6-4 over the Royals so I was happy enough.
But I must admit, the Yankees were impressive in their comeback victory. Also, Jeter is a very regal and most impressive ballplayer. He makes the Yankees better all around him. He is a true MVP for the team.
Great game, no wonder I did not stay on the internet that night after the first post!
