<< <i>The Brock arrived today and I can say. "Its by far the best 1969 Brock I've ever seen." The corners are rock solid. centering is 46-54 Left to right and 50-50 Top to Bottom. If not for just a hint of some minor minor snow in 1 spot it could of graded 10. >>

Don't you think your giving the graders a little too much credit here? Seems to me like it could be a 10 next week if you got lucky. It is great to here it's way better than a nice 8.

    Congrats!

It would never grade 10 because of the minor print defect. Its a solid solid 9.

    Bob

Your having way too much fun with those horses. Maybe you should just donate your card collection to me and concentrate on the races.

We are having a very good year (knock on wood) . In 24 starts we have 10 wins, 4 seconds, and 6 thirds. 1 fourth and 1 fifth. Only missed checks 2 times all year. The last 2 yrs have been pretty good. In fact I've decided to shell out $40K and get 1 more new horse next week. I've been very fortunate this year but I've also had 4 horses claimed away from me too. Its getting tough finding nice ones and then putting them in the right class. When they do well then everyone wants them. They push them up in class and then they dont do as well. I put them where they belong so thats why I lose alot to claiming.

    gaspipe26,
Any particular reason you didn't get back to me about the '78 rack box you offered to sell me (I'm feartheterps on ebay)? I emailed you 3 times with no response whatsoever. Sorry to do this publicly, but you have your pm's turned off and you don't respond to your email.

p.s.- sorry for hijacking the thread.

Actually Lee, I have responded to everyone of your emails. In each email I said there is 1 box left. Only to never hear a word back, so publicly I will state again that you can have the last box and the case it came in for the amount we first discussed.

    Hey Bob,
Sorry to call you out on the CU message board, but I guess for some reason the last two messages I sent through ebay didn't get to you. Just so you don't think I'm being a jackass, I sent the following two messages at the end of May and never heard from you:

    - "Sure, I'll take it. Let me know how much shipping will be to Maryland 21224. Which payment method do you prefer?"

    - "Hey Bob,
I assume I haven't heard from you yet because you're enjoying some Memorial weekend festivities. I'm still interested in the 78 rack box if you still want to sell it. I also just realized you're in MD also, so shipping should be relatively inexpensive and painless.
You're a poster on the PSA message boards right? I'm CDsNuts- I used to post there sometimes but I took a break for a while. Let me know what you'd like to do. Thanks."

I guess you never received them, but they're in my sent folder in my ebay account so I know ebay recorded them. Either they never got to you, or you responded and the responses never got to me. Kind of wierd but I guess nothing we can do about it now. I'm still interested in the box, so I'll send a check out once I hear back from you. You can email me directly at Lbiars@yahoo.com. Sorry for all the craziness.

    Lee

p.s.- I just tried to send another message to you through ebay and it didn't go through, so I guess they've got some bugs in the system.
