    I think that's why we are seeing Hansen earlier in the season than many expected. He's got to get the time in, regardless of his results -- like last night, if he will be the closer next year.

    And in his 2 blown saves, he kept his composure and kept the game tied, and the Sox won each one.

    His only loss was a situation in which he entered the game tied.

    ERA is still a ridiculous 0.44!!

    I'm a Tigers fan, but Papelbon has to be waaayyy out in front of Verlander for the ROY at this point. What he's done so far is just tremendous.
  • I believe he just set the Red Sox rookie record for saves. This guy has such confidence, and I forget who I saw him destroy(within the past week) in which it was 3 straight fastballs, and 3 straight whiffs. Amazing.
