PCGS / NGC grading of Jeffs

I own a killer set of raw, toned Jeffersons. All kinds of colors with original concentric rainbow reverses. Unfortunately the person who built it was not overly focused on high quality. But I sent the most colorful (48-S) to PCGS and it came back slabbed 65FS and no doubt PQ. The obverse is green/pink.

So I am looking to maximize my investment. Is NGC grading easier than PCGS in this series lately? Is there a big differential between PCGS and NGC prices? I would think an NGC MS66FS would sell higher than a PCGS MS65FS. Forgetting the FS designation as criteria, is there a grading / price benefit to choosing one over the other?

Once I get them slabbed, I'll send in some pics and grades.

I've made quite a few submissions in recent months, and I'd say that NGC and PCGS are grading on a par right now with both Jefferson and buffalo nickels. Both services are quite tough these days. NGC has the 6fs vs. 5fs distinction, but I think that many people who collect Jeffs don't care very much, even though a 6fs nickel is quite a bit harder to find.

The * designation that NGC hands out from time to time often adds a premium. It's much tougher to get a star nowadays than it was when the designation first started.

If we were all the same, the world would be an incredibly boring place.
