No slot, so I guess it becomes a pocket piece or belt buckle.

Nice stuff. That looks like a cool thing to hang on the wall in the family room, next to photos of the kids!image

Ok. Between this and Lanlord's birthyear set (congrats on 211, by the way), and CoinLt's Highmoon collection, I'm feeling completely inadequate as a collector and feel unworthy to use the title 'numismatist.'

I suspect it won't be long before that last hole is filled. I bet it being empty is just driving you crazy.image

Fats-what drives me crazy is..as a child, back when I had eyes, I bid all the money I had in the world, $69.00 at an auction in west Jersey and lost to $70.00 for a 1877 that was BU when BU meant something. Every time I think '3' it brings me right there.

That capitol black holder makes the gold stand out, nice set.

    That's a nice set! image

Do you have it on the wall, or in a safety deposit box? I'd be terrified to have it in my apartment, lest a friend of a friend of a friend had a bad habit of opening doors the hard way.
If you haven't noticed, I'm single and miserable and I've got four albums of bitching about it that I would offer as proof.

Nah...I keep it locked in my safe.

Very nicely matched set. Good luck filling that last hole!

The holder looks familiar. I cheated a lot - not all of these are MS. For example my 3 is only a 45.

Quiz: identify which are MS and which are only AU.
