Open it or leave it be? I could have a Kennedy worth $11,000 inside, that is what I have read on E-Bay!!!

Never open it. Occasionally carress it and mutter to yourself "Sweet anticipation...."

Back in Junior High we had this really cool but kinda strange science teacher. He had purchased one of those ceramic Space Shuttle heat tiles from NASA or someplace, and just kept it unopened, in the original box on the corner of his desk. Every once in a while he would pick it up and say this....

There is no reason not to open up a $13 dollar item. It is worth more open then closed. There is more to see open than closed. Much less stress open than closed.

    Open, Open, Open.

My guess, nothing too neat inside so it is worth more unopened.
With that said, A WHOLE WEEK...? How can you stand it? Open that sucker up!

Ever occur to you that someone has already steamed it open, removed the coins and put a bunch of slugs in there taped to a peice of cardboard. How about the P.C. on the bottom indicating PHONY COINS, POOR COINAGE, PEWTER COUNTERFIETS, etc.
You just got to open it.
