How often do 1806 Half Dollars come up for sale?

There's one at my dealers store in VF and I'm just wondering if these are readily available or not.

If this coin is really beautiful, original, and untampered with, that is a reason to seriously consider it. If not, you can wait.
I firmly believe in numismatics as the world's greatest hobby, but recognize that this is a luxury and without collectors, we can all spend/melt our collections/inventories.

BUT as Julian says if the coin is an original, attractive VF, it's worth going after if that is the grade that fits your budget. Nice, original early coins are not easy to find this market. They are NOT widgets.

Hey, thats a quarter.
Here is an 1806 O-109a that looks good to me. The stars and bust are well struck but the hair is weak..
An original coin IMO.
