Other than the horrible color, weak strike and just "fake" look of it, how do you know? What is the tip off? I don't know this series so please educate us (or at least me).
In addition to the silliness of telling people to ask questions when he claims to know nothing about the coin, he also claims "all sales are final". Doesn't exactly give you that warm, fuzzy feeling, does it?
If you haven't noticed, I'm single and miserable and I've got four albums of bitching about it that I would offer as proof.

The main tip off's are: 1) The '2' in '1921' is way to weird 2) There's no look of any high-relief to the coin (this year had this) 3) The ray extends past the 'E' in 'Liberty' 4) Most the lettering on the reverse do not fit with the coin, almost looks as if they're glued on

The "2" in the date is all wrong, for starters.
Notice that the first ray, near the I in LIBERTY, weakens as it nears the hair. Its a chinese fake.

Old thread alert.
Just noticed these two different kinds (both no good) on eBay :
https://ebay.com/itm/183132570163
https://ebay.com/itm/173223732910
Looks like the original example posted here has been removed by eBay.
The listing has been removed.
eBay stated the 1st one listed is good, the 2nd one is bad and removed that listing.
I will take Dan's assessment over ebay's... If he says they both were bad... they are bad. Cheers, RickO
The first one is definitely bad. Look how fat the letters of "ONE" (and the nearby rays) are.
He meant auction being 'live'. The second auction has already been nuked.
First one on the left, known genuine one on the right (courtesy PCGS):
Do you mean that the one on the left is counterfeit?
The one on the left is: https://www.ebay.com/itm/183132570163?rmvSB=true
Don't like either item, but the one at right is genuine - both sides, too !
Good catch!
