With regard to a recent thread about "overrated" numismatic books, we now have multiple copies of the Akers books on eBay to watch!

Will our fellow board member recoup his costs?

Will fellow collectors prefer to buy the full set all at once?

Do Gawain and Numisbooks know that Brooklyn Gallery is still selling the Gold Dollars volume for $26?

I am unloading them because they are not as useful to me as I anticipated (as I indicated in the thread), and so that I can make an Obscene Profit™.

I also kept the half eagles book for myself.

The original seller had the Akers series buried in his listing, along with some feedback issues.
