The overexposed pics are worse IMHO. Visible fingerprints (or some kind of marks resembling prints) on the reverse that are not obvious in the original pics.

... and I'm not necessarily convinced that that's the same coin. Check out the small horizontal gash at the base of the left hand side of the neck on the $99 coin -- it doesn't appear to be there on the $500 coin. And there's a ding between the 'R' and 'I' in 'PLURIBUS' on the latter coin which doesn't appear on the former. (That may be due to lighting, however. But it seems that the lack of a neck gash on the more expensive coin isn't hidden by lighting.) Further, I don't see much similarity on the reverses.
