WHO THINKS THE FULL STEP DESIGNATION WILL BE NECESSARY ON THE 2006 JEFF?

I've been through several rolls of the new Jeffersons and they appear to all be full steps.
Unbelievable detail on Monticello. Anyone seeing anything different?
W and 14 million illegals. Oh man is this going to be interesting!!!!

"The FS designation WILL be used!"
1. There are some selling the 2006 MS coins on the bay for big bucks (at least much more than they should be going for).
2. Even though I agree with you about the master die change (which significantly upgraded the reverse), there will still be Jeffs without the FS designation (either due to dings, cuts, or other various reasons) just like the rest of the series since 92 on... most if not all of those coins had good steps and the FS designation remained.
3. Almost every date with a Full Step desingation has coins without the FS designation... trivia question... Post 1986... how many date/mintmarks only have FS coins graded (edited to add) in PCGS holders?
Peace!
Steve

Rookie Joe,
I think I will buy a 2006 coin cover set tomorrow so I can see one.

no offense to modern collectors, i think many classic designs
are ugly, like the 20 saint's obverse.

Do modern copper coins need a rd designation?

I'd give you the world, just because...
Speak to me of loved ones, favorite places and things, loves lost and gained, tears shed for joy and sorrow, of when I see the sparkle in your eye ...
and the blackness when the dream dies, of lovers, fools, adventurers and kings while I sip my wine and contemplate the Chi.
Jeff's are full step, what's the point? No rarity there. I assume that any designation adds to
the bottom line of a TPG in more coins graded.
DickyBetz--- I think I'm the one that AT'd your 26 Lincoln with a blow torch. Enjoy!

It has the same boring reverse on it that has been on the nickel since 1938. The design is vapid and lacking in merit, but don't blame designer Felix Schlag for that. His original work was much more interesting, but claim was it won't strike. One wonders if that would still be true with today's technology
That obv is very ugly and the rev doesn't quite have the feel of the earlier ones.
Hell, I don't need to exercise.....I get enough just pushing my luck.
