<< <i>Morgans are what a collector can buy if he/she has just taken an hour of a dealers time and not found anything worth buying. "yeah, you know what? Give me one of those circ. morgans you have offered for $10.00 a piece". You hear under the dealers breath as he/she reaches for the coin, "one hour wasted with this dope...are you F$$$ing kidding me?"

That's funny!!! I do that to, but do collect Morgans-- Just dumped a bunch of my "wasted buys" at $18-$20 and and almost doubled my money. My nice coins should do so well!!!

Hey, I like Morgans!!
I've actually got several from my younger days collecting, but I wouldn't consider them "mine" since my stepfather bought them for me. I've got two right now. One's an ANACS MS-65 1885-O and one's an 1898-O, raw, MS-64, which I won't have in another couple of days.

Hell, I don't need to exercise.....I get enough just pushing my luck.

Mine are all certified/slabbed with (old) ANACS and one NGC with the exception of 2 GSA's.

and will continue to add to them as good ones come available.
Edit to add:11 to 20 was my choice.

Then again, only two of them are white (plus a white raw on in my album and a few circs that I never remember I have)

I agree with you, but I do have to admit that I own one. It was a gift.
