Bought this at FUN, one of the Garrett patterns. I couldn't get a good pic so gave up and had PCGS do it.

I have a feeling that some will think it's too splotchy, but I like its character....
I just noticed the different motto above the eagle, and was recently reading about the origin of "in god we trust" motto- what a great coin!!

Maybe when PCGS loosens up again, it will be properly graded.

It's a really outstanding coin. If I collected patterns, which I don't, except for fringe items like the 1836 on base Gobrecht Dollar and the 1792 haf disme, which should be a regular issues IMO, I'd want them to look like this piece.
