All of us here love coins...that is obvious. And most of us love to post pics of our collection to share. After all, coin collecting would not be nearly as fun if we didnt have friends to share them with. And of course, as we 'ooh' and 'ahh', I know I sometimes think, boy!!, I would sure love to own that coins.
So, pick ANY member/members that you want and post what your absolute favorite coin of theirs is, that if you were given the dream option of choosing one coin to buy from them, and money wasnt an option, that you would pick. If you think about it, it is harder than you think!!
I will start with just 5 members and add more.
TDN: His icon coin is absolutely stellar, and comes in a close second, but my absolute favorite coin of his is the 1872-CC Seated Dollar. I have a special place in my heart for that date as my house was built that year and I am trying to build a set of coins for the date.
Casey: I sold Tom a coin a few years ago before I knew better. It is 'just' an XF 1892-O dime, but it has the precise look that I absolutely love. I know it is now one of Tom's favorite and I am happy that he owns it and that I know where it is, but if I had one coin to choose from his collection, that would be it. Simply perfect collector coin.
Oreville: While I love gold, it is simply out of my price range in most cases...but since money isnt an option here, Orevilles 1875-S Double Eagle in PCGS MS67 is one of the most
amazing coins that I have ever heard of. I love bust halves, but there is NOTHING like holding a near flawless, lustrous, killer MS Double eagle.
Cmannb: Everyone knows that Larry and I are in "competition" with each other for busties, but I must say that of all the 'adversaries' that I have had in my life, we sure do enjoy talking to each other about coins and other things too. I had an opportunity to buy his 1809 a year or so ago....could have bought his whole collection in fact and never had to deal with him collecting bust halves even. Unfortunately, we were just moved to Hawaii and money was tight etc... Regardless, his 1809 is fabulous and a coin that would fit very well into the Highmoon collection.
TomB: Tom recently sold me a stellar 1823 for which I am eternally grateful so I actually have the coin that I liked the most from his collection. However, the 1899 cent he has makes me weep. My dad's house was built that year so the date has some sentimental value and I am working on putting together a set for him. Of all the collectors on this board, I think Tom has the absolute closest taste in coins, both unc and circ. Lots to learn from this collector and lots of eye candy to enjoy in the meantime.

Apropos of the coin posse/aka caca: "The longer he spoke of his honor, the tighter I held to my purse."
WonderCoins '76 Ike. This would really cap off my Ike set.
I don't suppose anyone's giving them up though.
Oops! There's no '86 trade dollar.
There are a lot more that I'd like to own. Please PM me for a mailing address.
Pattern, regular issue. Who cares? The coin is absolutely stunning.
JustHavingFun's 1894-S Dime - at least for a day
Laura's 1913 Nickel - just so I could taunt her with it
TDN's - well just about one of them!
Stewart Blay's 1919 Lincoln - at least for an hour
SaintGuru's - well, there again, just about any of them!
Monsterman's - gee, I'm starting to sound like a broken record
CoinLieutenant - I think the MS Bust you put on tonight would certainly make the list!
oh wow ... even to have a top twenty list that I could spend the day with ...
“We are only their care-takers,” he posed, “if we take good care of them, then centuries from now they may still be here … ”
Todd - BHNC #242
braddick's - "evenly worn missouri half"
Kutasi used to own some spectacular half eagles but I don't have any pics.
