Is this 1879 Morgan worth the money to grade? What do you think it would grade?

    No---if you mean TPG---other wise all Morgans are worth grading. I'd go VF35.

    Now that I see the coin, I'll say VF-35, and it would be better to sell it raw, if you wanted to do that.

    I looked on EBAY at some vf's and my coin looks so much nicer. It looked like the xf's they have listed. Maybe it's a bad pic.

    Using Ebays vfs and xfs as benchmarks for grading is not necessarily a good idea. There are other resources that are more reliable
