On the way back from Tennessee, I had the oppertunity to stop by the baltimore coin show. Attendence seemed lighter than the summer shows, but the place was still packed. I didn't do any buying but had the oppertunity to meet MANY new people from the boards...
I cant rember all of them, (sorry if I left you off), but heres a few...
Tassa (and I shook her hand , Cam (whose a real stand up guy, great to talk too), Ken, Dave (Dollars), clarkofkent, clark, tootawl, Dennis, newsman (and his lovely wife), Michael, Xbob, and Nick Chabot.
I have to say it was a pleasure to meet, (and remeet) all of you. Especially Nick Chabot. When I found Nick at his table, he took the time from his busy schedual to talk to me, and show me his coins. I was impressed with his inventory, and his character. He is a great honest seller, and I highly recomend him to anyone interested in quality coins.
Not much on the coin level, but it was truly a pleasure to meet many of the people that I learn so much from on these boards.
Edited to add: I also meet Merc and his awsome proof nickel !

I only did a few hours of looking/buying this time but I'm glad I made it for lunch. Good time!

Good to see you at the show. I was the guy with the 1936 Satin proof nickel you met at lunch. Too bad it was so crouded there. It seems like everyone went to downtown Baltimore today.
I didn't buy anything but sold some gold to pay for my new nickel.

I touched him and haven't bathed since. I do have a problem though. Seems that good looking blonde women can't stay away from me!!
"Mary Kate and Ashley" convention.
Another note, I too had the opportunity to talk with Nick Chabot and see smoe of his killer coins.
(Had the most beautiful 20 cent piece I'll probably ever see!)
We talked a bit about Big East basketball and the NCAA tournament and I picked up a nice proff 1942 Mercury dime from him.
All in all, a nice, knowledgeable, young dealer. Check him out.
