My first trade Dollar! Guess the grade

I just purchased my first Trade Dollar! I'm pretty excited.

My certified type set now has 41 slots filled of the 97 I have identified as my desired 'complete' set (1/2 cent through Dollar, Red Book varieties, no gold).

In any case, this is the trade dollar. I bought it raw from China on ebay for $22!...... Ha! (kidding)image

Its in an NGC holder. I'd love to hear opinions on grade.

It looks like a nice, lustrous coin with wear only on Liberty's breast and thigh.

Looks like good luster on that coin. MS61?

I'd grade it 55, but I wouldn't be surprised to hear that NGC called it 58.

I believe that is rub from what I see in the pic-so AU. But I can't really tell the color from the pic so it may also be a weak strike and not rub.

Thanks for the guesses. NGC called it a 60. The toning is a little ugly in-hand, but the strike is good I think (particularly on the eagle). I'm no expert on Trade Dollars, so I have to trust NGC's grade over mine, but I'm very happy with it. And it feels good to fill another spot.

As a side note, its slabbed at an angle (top leaning forward in the slab). It seems like every NGC coin I own is like that, whats up with that? Is it just me?image

If there really is wear on the high spots of the obverse, MS60 is about right for market grading. I can't see any wear on the reverse in your scans (except maybe a little on the thigh feathers).
