1825 Bustie (Grade Revealed)

This will be the last of the guess the grades from me since the 1830 was raw. This 1825 is was graded by ANACS until I cracked her out this evening. Guess the grade. I will post the grade tomorrow night. So what do you think of her?

ANACS graded her VF20.

What does she grade? XF 40 to 45. But ANACS probably called her AU 53 to 55.

I will venture into the 35-40 range, but it really does not matter, it is a nice coin and another nice addition to your set.
I only wish the pic wasn't so darn dark-------------ONLY KIDDING.

I think the weakness on the motto and eagle's head are from the strike... I am going to say AU50. The eagle's claws and liberty's forehead curls are pretty strong.

When Tom sold me the coins he did not agree with either of the grades that had been given to the two graded coins.

Since it looks like everyone that is going to guess already has I will go ahead and reveal the grade ANACS gave her. She was graded VF20. When Tom sold it to me he said that it was undergraded and that he would call it a VF30.

Way undergraded... You don't see details like that one has on any VF20 or 30... Especially the forehead curls and eagle claws... Wild

ANACS certainly did not use their usual grading standards on that 1825. Either that, or the photo was deceiving.
