Would these come back "artificial color"?

Check out these beauties. Im thinking about taking up this hobby. I have a lot of 21 Morgan and 22 Peace dollars lying around. Why didn't I think of this?!!.

    They would most likely come back as altered surfaces.

    I don't know why, but painted coins always seem creepy to me as well....

    Creepy or not, I'm still trying to get my jaw off the floor from when I saw what a bunch of enameled coins went for at the ANR Atlanta Sale last year. Who knows, maybe in 100 years the ones produced today may bring a tidy sum as well. I doubt it but who knows.
