Thanks Gladiator. I purchased this 1/2 dime from RCNH and they asked me if I was related to the author. Sadly I'm not. I like this little guy but I think many would say it is too dark.

I'd rather have that darkie than one that was dipped blast white and un-natural looking for a 150+ year old coin. I didn't used to be that way but I sure am now.

I sorta liked the way these came out today. I normally don't use diffused lighting, but with this coin, it helped capture the colors dead on.

I took this image today. Its probably one of the last pictures I take with my old 3.2 megapixel camera before I get my new camera tomorrow. I really like how this one came out.
