I traded it at FUN. I had very good reasons, but I cry every time I look at this. They just do not come any better!! 1909 MS66, POP4/0

  • That's definitely a beauty. My condolences. That must've been a tough call.
If you haven't noticed, I'm single and miserable and I've got four albums of bitching about it that I would offer as proof.

    Hey now!! image

You don't even know why he gave it up! What if he had to pay for a surgery for his child, fer chrissake? What if he needed to make a house payment and was short that month? There's a lot of things in this life more important than coins, and if he had to make a tough choice (if it even was tough, based on his priorities) that's nothing to hold against him.

  • Yeah if the guy wants to get rid of it and still loves the coin. That doesn't make him an idiot.

Why does that coin look 17 points better than the "5's" I've been shown? Wowzers.

Pretty coin. What did you trade it for?

I traded it for this fantastic MS65...and an incredible amount of cash. MacPickledick was right....the $$ helped pay for the 1931-D MS65 that I bought. That's a really important key date and much rarer thatn the phony POP. I'd guess there are 5 of them at moct.

Wow SG, that is a nice coin. But while I'm sure it stands out more in the image than in hand, my eye keeps going to the hit on the sun on the reverse.

It will never go MS67. That hit is a die ejector mark that is typical on many of the best Saints...PCDS knows this and treats it as mede.

Where do you see the die ejector mark? Do they occur at the same location on all saints or is the location random?
